Solitary Freedom

Solitary night

Nights are always special
Maybe because there is
no movement,
      no animals,
            no colours.

Or Maybe
    it's because
  Nature is paused
And the Sky takes over
               to put up a show

Or maybe,
just maybe
It's my loneliness
   which has found
solace and familiarity

Dedicated to all those sleepless nights when you can do anything but stare at the ceiling and wonder…
The freedom of loneliness unlocks imagination.
